Dr. Choi just returned from the second meeting for the 2023 American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Preferred Practice Panel. As part of this team of expert physicians, Dr. Choi writes the protocols and standards for eye care in the United States. The Preferred Practice guidelines for the AAO are revised every 5 years. Dr. Choi reviews hundreds of peer-reviewed articles and journals to come up with the best guidelines for diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of various eye conditions.
